Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data TeeWorld ("we") collects when you use teeworld.uk, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it in plain English because that's how we'd want it explained to us.
What we collect and why
- Order details — your name, email address, phone number and, for deliveries, your address. We need these to print your order, tell you when it's ready and get it to you. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Artwork and designs — the files and designs you upload exist so we can print them. We keep them so you can reorder; ask us and we'll delete them.
- Payment details — card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
- Enquiries — messages sent through our contact form, kept so we can reply and refer back.
- Server logs — IP addresses and requests, kept briefly for security and debugging.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them.
- We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are the ones the shop needs to work (your session and basket).
Who we share data with
Only the services needed to run the shop: Stripe (payments), our email provider (order confirmations and replies), our hosting provider (the server the site runs on), and couriers (name and address, for deliveries — that's all they get).
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 6 years as required for UK tax purposes. Artwork is kept so you can reorder, and deleted on request. Contact enquiries are kept for up to 2 years.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (except records we're legally required to keep), and object to any processing. Email info@teeworld.uk and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
